Dark Horses has promoted Alex Fearn to business director. Within the new role Alex will collaborate closely with Dark Horses' chief strategy officer, Matt Readman, and chief creative officer, Steve Howell, to steer the strategic direction of Nissan Global.

Alex was previously an account director at the agency and has been a vital part of Dark Horses for an impressive four and a half years. Her journey within the agency includes significant contributions to the Nissan Global account, particularly on the Formula E program, and collaborations with other high-profile partnerships, such as Manchester City, Chelsea FC, Peloton, ECB and PUMA Football.

In the new role, Alex will not only continue leading the Nissan Formula E account but will also play a crucial role in enhancing the Account Management department, including working closely with Max Arkell, head of account management, to mentor junior members and fortify the agency's capabilities.

As Dark Horses continues to push creative boundaries, Alex Fearn's promotion marks a pivotal moment in the agency's journey, reinforcing its commitment to innovative strategies and client relationships.

Alex Fearn, business director at Dark Horses, said, "The opportunity to work on diverse accounts and the agency's rapid growth were key factors in my decision to join Dark Horses in the first instance. I am now thrilled to be leading the charge on the Nissan Formula E account, aiming to maintain our position as the noisiest team on the grid. Our goal is to not only strengthen our relationship with Nissan but also to pioneer new and compelling directions for the brand."

Melissa Robertson, Dark Horses CEO, said, "Alex’s promotion is a testament to Dark Horses' commitment to nurturing talent and driving innovation. Her dedication has been instrumental in our journey, particularly with the Nissan Global account. As we elevate Alex to a key leadership position, we're confident that her unconventional approach and passion for groundbreaking work will continue to shape the future of Dark Horses.”
