Cutwater Welcomes Matt Allen as Group Account Director

In an exciting period of growth, creative and media agency Cutwater, with offices in San Francisco and New York City, has bolstered its robust client services department by tapping Matt Allen as group account director.

An accomplished marketing and business leader, Matt boasts an extensive background across the healthcare, EV charging, QSR, fintech, genetics, travel, education, and home improvement verticals. His success with client engagements are owed to his passion for building relationships, an approach rooted in fostering trust and credibility. Prior to joining Cutwater, he was the group business director at Eleven where he spearheaded revenue growth as well as orchestrated the strategy, development, and launch of cross-channel campaigns for numerous brands. He was also at the likes of DesignKitchen, gyro (now acquired by Merkle), and Arnold Worldwide.

During his storied career, he has collaborated with top names, such as McDonald’s, HP, Pella, and more. Most notably, he helped bring to life the 'Hello humankindness' brand campaign for CommonSpirit Health’s care sites across the nation.

The addition follows Cutwater’s latest business wins. These include the creative and media agency of record title for leading pet care brand Hartz along with the digital creative agency of record title for Harvest Snaps, the original plant-based snack and flagship brand of Calbee America, Inc.

Continuing this expansion, Matt’s role will focus on yet another agency of record partnership. The account and title for the piece of business, which will be co-managed by fellow Cutwater group account director Courtney Griffin, are currently under wraps.
