Cut+Run New York Promotes Ellese Shell to EP and Marcia Wigley to Head of Production

Cut+Run’s New York office announces the promotions of Ellese Shell (left) to executive producer and Marcia Wigley (right) to head of production.

Ellese (Jobin) Shell started her career at Cut+Run. Working her way from front desk to head of production, Ellese has been an integral part of the company from the beginning. Ellese immediately connected with 'the magic that each editor brings to the craft'. As head of production, she was appreciated for her ability to empower people to bring their best to each project.

“It sounds like a cliché to say Cut+Run feels like a big family, but it’s true,” says Ellese. “And there’s nothing better than supporting the artists and relationships that are an essential part of bringing ideas to life.”

Marcia Wigley is a New York native whose life-long passion for film was explored as a Cinema Studies major and in her early career in production for Paramount and Viacom. Marcia found her true calling and community in post production, producing a wide variety of projects at Lost Planet and the Whitehouse before joining Cut+Run. The role of head of production is a natural evolution for someone known by all to be committed to mentoring and contributing to Cut+Run’s positive culture.
