Manners McDade are delighted to welcome Milan-born composer, Federico Albanese, who is currently working on his second full-length album, out in January 2016.
In 2012 Fedrico composed the music to Orlando Bosh’s feature film “Shadows In The Distance”, premiered at Shanghai Film Festival. In February 2014, Federico released his highly acclaimed debut solo album “The Houseboat And The Moon”. He also produced and arranged J Moon's (aka Jessica Eianudi) first solo album “Melt”.
In 2007 he met singer and songwriter Jessica Einaudi and together they founded the avantgarde duo “La Blanche Alchimie”. The first eponymous album was released in Italy in 2009 on Ponderosa/Edel. Their second album “Galactic Boredom” was released in Italy in 2011 on Ponderosa/Universal and in Germany in 2012 on Qrious/Edel.
Catherine Manners says of the signing ‘We're delighted to be working with Federico as he represents the very best of the new generation of Italian composer/pianists working in classical and electronic music.’
Federico’s upcoming record will be released by the label BERLIN CLASSICS in their new series of contemporary classical music called "Neue Meister".
