Over the past year, our homes have become our all-in-one - we can do it all without ever needing to step out of the house. We buy socks while making eggs, take spin classes from our living room and have toilet paper delivered before it even runs out.  And if the idea of making a major purchase like buying a car from home a few years ago would have seemed as silly as having a conversation with your refrigerator, it’s not the case anymore.

'Finally, It’s Easy - from home' is Autotrader’s latest campaign, featuring beloved comedian actor Kenan Thompson. Having welcomed Kenan into our homes for decades, now we get to see him at home - finally. Created in partnership with award-winning creative agency 72andSunny New York, the new 15 and 30-second TV spots feature Thompson talking to his home’s AI-enabled smart devices and appliances, casually discussing how easy it is to buy a car from home with Autotrader. The campaign demonstrates how buyers can shop the largest selection of new and used vehicles online, test drive and buy from home and get the car delivered right to your door. 

"We know that historically most people don't really enjoy the car-buying process, so in these new spots we used humour to both lighten up the situation and get our point across - it really is easy to buy a car from home with Autotrader," said Greta Crowley, vice president of marketing for Autotrader. "It was incredible to work with such a brilliant actor and Kenan nailed it. He has the perfect comedic presence, unforgettable voice and spot-on delivery to really bring our campaign concept to life."
