Contagious London continue their long running Kingsmill campaign with a new ad for the brand’s Sandwich Thins.
The story develops with single dad, played by John Thomson, taking his daughter to university as she embarks on her new life as a student. An emotional time for many parents, made tougher for the family as we see Mum for the first time in the campaign and the realization that she’s no longer around.
In keeping with previous work, the new spot delves into modern family life and the emotions that come with it.
Paul Weiland, Executive Creative Director and Director of the ad, commented ‘We’ve been on quite the journey with Kingsmill over the years. As the campaign has grown so have the kids and it felt that it was right time to take some new steps. Personally, I’ve dropped three children off at university so far and I can tell you it’s not easy. Emotionally, I think this will resonate with a lot of parents all over the country.’
