Classic Disney Songs Transform Everyday Moments in Disney Hits Playlist Campaign

Award winning agency, The Escape Pod, has teamed up with Disney Music Group to roll out the Magic Happens Here Campaign for the Disney Hits playlist. 

Disney Hits is a streaming music playlist that aggregates the most popular and iconic Disney songs from the past 100 years into one location. It averages 90 million monthly streams and is available on all major music-streaming services across the globe, including Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM, YouTube Music and more. This is the first multi-spot, major advertising campaign for Disney Hits. Magic Happens Here will spotlight how the Disney Hits playlist adds a little musical enchantment to any fan’s day proving any moment can be magical. The Escape Pod developed the Magic Happens Here campaign, and created several spots, which poignantly capture the emotion of why fans of all ages love and relate to Disney’s Music, and how simple it is to access those songs via the Disney Hits Playlist.

The campaign includes three commercials featuring beloved songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 'Moana' and Pixar Animation’s 'Coco' and 'Toy Story' films. With an unexpectedly charming lo-fi arts and crafts executional style, they show ordinary, everyday life moments elevated by the emotional connection to Disney’s music.
