Forty1, the employee engagement division of The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG), has appointed Chris Cox as a senior communications and engagement consultant for North America.
In his new role, Cox will develop a model that will unlock opportunities and enable TCEG to evolve the delivery of its unique mix of services to clients in North America. He will sit on the Forty1 North America leadership team and help drive the strategic direction of the business, working across clients. Based in Oakland, CA, he will report to Kristen Erickson, who was promoted to Principal Consultant and Vice President of Forty1 North America in June.
Cox was previously Chief Marketing Officer at Learnship where he led the repositioning of the company following a merger with company rival, GlobalEnglish, including corporate re-branding, product portfolio integration and global employee engagement programs.
Erickson said: “Chris joins Forty1 in North America to advance our efforts to deliver high-impact client engagements through the creative and activation strengths of TCEG. This appointment positions us well to help our clients better navigate the future of work and create enriching experiences for employees.”
Cox said: “There’s probably never been a time of greater demand for innovative employee engagement programs, so it’s great to be joining a team with such a range of expertise – from behavioral science to creative execution – that can help clients maintain and strengthen collaborative cultures across the new reality of hybrid work environments.”
Before Learnship, Cox was VP & Chief Creative Officer at Cohn & Wolfe, San Francisco, and Executive Communications Manager at Chevron. Born in the UK, he ran the technology division at Cohn & Wolfe, London, before moving to San Francisco in 2002.
