German agency Überground has launched a 360° Christmas campaign spanning 19 countries for supermarket Lidl.
The epic film was shot by director James Lees in Estonia with production company EASYdoesit. The perfect Christmas wonderland was created by the teams at MPC Amsterdam and London, with sound provided by 2wei Music.
"Our client Lidl proved once again they have the courage not only to realise a cute spot, but to accomplish a campaign that is way more than advertising," says Überground's Jo Marie Farwick. It's beyond advertising, it has attitude, it can change people's behaviour and this is what I find admirable and desirable."
Martin Alles, head of marketing, international at Lidl, commented: "We have realised that the desire for a perfect, harmonious Christmas puts a lot of pressure on our customers.
