Besides your drink tasting better when packaged in a glass, holding a glass bottle is a different experience than drinking from a can. And, whether it makes you feel a little classier or brings back memories, the tangible feeling of drinking out of a glass bottle is quite unique. However, not every consumer knows the benefits of choosing glass, so O-I Glass wanted to find a way to share this message that’s engaging and resonates with consumers.
What better way to share that message, than by launching a music video? Done in partnership with O-I Glass, country music artist Chase McDaniel launched a music video for his new single ‘Better in a Glass.’
After discovering the song in March, O-I Glass was drawn to the song’s message around nostalgia and memory, and even found parallels to their own ethos. With over 100,000 thousand streams to date, it was clear this song resonated with a larger audience. So, the brand and Chase McDaniel joined forces to reach consumers in a way that’s catchy, engaging and some might even say, unconventional for a brand.
The full music video can be seen today on Chase McDaniel’s YouTube channel. And to really drive this home, the brand has also partnered up with TikTok influencers to help spread the word in their own way.
