Everyone claims to be an “award-winning director” these days. But not everyone has a shelf full of Gold Lions, five Yellow Pencil’s, and a career defining campaign like Never Say No to Panda (you know, the one with over a 100 million views). That kind of distinction deserves more than just a humble mention.
Ali Ali’s creative brilliance has not only earned him numerous accolades, but it’s also made him a household name across the globe, with campaigns for Diesel, Heineken and Rolling Stone that have become part of the cultural fabric. He just recently added another Cannes Lion to his collection. This time for Floward’s Mobster and Mad Queen. Both picking up a Silver Lion in Film.
Finally, Ali is bringing his clever wit and vision to Caviar London, where he’s set to bolster their comedy offering in the UK. Already an integral part of the Caviar family in France, he’s now there to continue pushing the boundaries and to elevate the art of storytelling on every bid and every project. Ali blends technical precision with raw emotion, and at times, silly humor, creating work that connects with audiences globally.
Mia Powell said, “Caviar prides itself on its incredibly diverse set of directors, we’re always on the lookout to strengthen the genre verticals and I am beyond excited for us to represent such an established household name within the comedy genre. Ali Ali has a guttural instinct when it comes to performance, some may describe his sense of humour as a little disturbed, which is why I’m even more obsessed.”
“Super stoked to be joining Caviar in the UK. I’ve already been in the Caviar family for years, just not in the UK. I look forward to working with Mia, Scorch and the lovely team there. I may be getting old, but I’m still waiting for that breakthrough in the UK!” said Ali Ali, director.
