Call of Duty has unveiled their new platform, ‘Live From Warzone (LFWZ),’ to deliver cultural entertainment that starts within the Warzone universe, and transcends into culture.
Activision partnered with creative agency 72andSunny Los Angeles to develop the new platform, so fans should expect to see new tournaments, entertainment and many more surprises, all celebrating the game they love.
At a time when sports across the globe are on pause, the first piece of LFWZ content will give fans a way to connect with their favourite athletes, celebrities and streamers through video games. The program kicked off with the Call of Duty League’s weekly ‘Live From Warzone: Warstream’ series. Catch some of the biggest names in Call of Duty esports, squad up with the brightest stars in traditional sports and entertainment from their CDL team’s respective cities, including: Paul George, Richard Sherman, and more. The ‘Live From Warzone: Warstream’ series began yesterday across YT and other platforms and will continue tomorrow with even more celebrity streams.
Live From Warzone: Warstreams is the first of many pieces of weekly content to come this week and over the months of April and May. This platform is poised to deliver more culture-driving livestreams and Warzone tournaments featuring some of the biggest streams and athletes. The content will continue to diversify across a variety of media all centered around COD’s new free to play mode, Warzone.
