Bueno Films Signs Director Jeffrey DeChausse

Los Angeles-based production company Bueno Films has signed celebrated director Jeffrey DeChausse. Nearly seven years ago, DeChausse left a highly productive advertising agency creative career to pursue his passion for filmmaking.  His work has won gold, silver and bronze awards at events including the One show, the ADDYs, Cannes International Advertising Festival, the CLIO Awards, New York Art Directors Club and Communication Arts Advertising Annual.

 

"We're thrilled to have Jeffrey join Bueno," says Bueno Executive Producer Annie Hanlon. "His collaborative spirit and tremendous creativity is obvious in all of his work. His storytelling is unique and smart - you really connect with his spots in a very genuine way."

 

DeChausse will add to the already impressive team at Bueno Films, including award-winning directors Albert Kodagolian, John Hardwick, Nicholas Reynolds and Ian Kammer.  Jeffrey comments, "I'm excited about joining Bueno. They're more of an entrepreneurial shop and work closely with their directors to really support each job; they take advantage of their boutique size to do big creative projects."

 

DeChausse's recently completed "American Auto," a documentary, which is the culmination of six years of filming and will hit the film festival circuit this year. He has worked on commercial and documentary projects for clients such as Apple, Visa, Lexus, and Toyota.

 

Jeffrey concludes, "I like things that are really challenging. I shot three films in Spanish, and I don't even speak Spanish!"
