The first-ever campaign for Uber One for Students has launched, featuring “Succession” star Brian Cox.
In the new spots for Uber One for Students, the membership that helps students save across Uber and Uber Eats, viewers see Brian Cox arriving at a college campus. He isn’t enrolling in college for a degree. He isn’t enrolling for the campus experience. Brian Cox is in college for the discounts on tacos and lattes on the quad. The 78-year-old fish-out-of-water is majoring in smoothies, minoring in pizza, and getting discounts on rides with Uber One for Students – a membership so good, it’s worth going back to college for.
Led by creative agency Special US and director David Shane, the new spots and campaign will run across TV, OLV, Social, Digital, OOH and Audio as Uber looks to further raise awareness of Uber One for Students.
Launched earlier this year, Uber One for Students offers the membership benefits of Uber One for half the price. Members get $0 Delivery Fee and up to 10% off orders, 6% Uber One credits on rides, member-only pricing and discounts from favourite brands for only $4.99 per month.
The latest creative builds on a series of activations for Uber One for Students, including a nationwide campus tour that brought 'The One Shop' to colleges across the country, engaging students with exclusive deals and experiences.
