To promote the launch of the club's new kit earlier in the week, Manchester United and adidas have teamed up with creative agency Homeground and director Tom Day, and have created a cinematic ode to football narrated by Irish actor and lifelong fan of the game, Barry Keoghan.
In the film, Keoghan appears alongside a constellation of current Manchester United stars, club legends, and other famous faces, with Alejandro Garnacho, Bryan Robson and Luke Shaw among others.
As the actor visits the iconic former training ground, The Cliff, he watches on a grassroots game and beautifully narrates the nostalgic spot to the background of the iconic '90s anthem 'Born Slippy' by Underworld.
The film concludes with Barry turning to face the camera. "After all that. After all we've seen," he says, "I say, you can't beat an original."
