CZAR director launches 'Momentary Bliss'

Band Sons Fights Against the Rut of Routine in Music Video from Kenneth Mercken

Kenneth Mercken directs his second music video for Sons’ new album ‘Sweet Boy’.

‘Momentary Bliss’ is nothing short of an intense uneasiness that perpetuates throughout the entire clip. Aren Welvaert, the actor casted in Mercken’s first videoclip ‘Nothing' as well as the face of the band’s cover art, is going through his daily chores such as working out, feeding his parrots and watering plants whilst being haunted by characters popping up in very distinctive decors.

From styling to props everything oozes mundanity. At one point Aren has an experience much like a sleep paralysis episode where black painted nails try to strangle him, but he can’t move. Watch out for all the band members making a cameo haunting Aren!
