We Are Social Studios, the social-first production specialist division of We Are Social, is continuing its relationship with the leading arts charity and academy for the screen industries, BAFTA.
For the second consecutive year, We Are Social Studios led the official social coverage of the charity’s high-profile 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards and will lead social coverage for 2025 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises. The aim is to entertain new and diverse audiences across social platforms, driving increased viewership with platform-authentic content.
Continuing its production partnership with Amity Studio, We Are Social Studios captured red carpet content and an elevated cinematic ‘Winners Run’ backstage activation. The backstage activation was designed as a visual experience, giving winners the chance to celebrate their victories in a social-first yet cinematic way. We Are Social Studios set up a specialised rig of 16 cameras, capturing winners and transforming a static moment into a spectacular motion sequence alongside more candid BTS shots.
We Are Social Studios will also work on the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards with P&O Cruises, set to take place on 11th May 2025.
Dan Keefe, UK head of We Are Social Studios, said, “We’re thrilled to be working with BAFTA for the second year running and taking their social-first content to the next level. We had some great learnings last year about how the winners wanted to celebrate these important moments, and along with our partners at BAFTA and Amity Studios we feel we really brought this vision to life.”
Paul MacMahon, head of digital content at BAFTA, added, “We are really excited to be working with We Are Social Studios again for this year’s awards. Their incredible expertise in end-to-end, social-first production continues to impress us, and this year’s ‘Winners Run’ backstage production has elevated BAFTA’s digital content to new heights and has been crucial in cementing our social presence.”
