The Martin Agency teams up with famed Latinx creative Angelo Baque, founder of AwakeNY, on clothing collection and an immersive customer experience

UPS returned to NYFW: The Shows with a creative partnership with famed Latinx creative Angelo Baque, founder of AwakeNY and former Supreme brand director. Together they have joined forces to create a clothing collection and an immersive customer experience across New York City during New York Fashion Week.

To support the Latinx community, UPS will drop its first-ever capsule Latinx fashion collaboration:

Apparel Collection: The limited-edition collection, UPS x Awake NY collaboration, Unidos Para Siempre collection (United Forever) will include a jacket, hoodie, bucket hat, and t-shirt.

La Bodega Baque: An experience to celebrate and uplift the unstoppable spirit of Latinx creators and small business community. The interior will be curated with Latinx - owned small businesses with goods, designer apparel, and much more. Find the bodega on 63 Spring St (corners of Spring and Lafayette). Reservations to visit here.

    Bodega Hours:

DATE: Saturday, September 10th - Monday, September 12th

    TIME: 11am - 7pm

LOCATION: 63 Spring St (corner of Lafayette and Spring)

NYFW: The Talks Panel: UPS will host a panel conversation at Spring Studios on September 10 at 12pm about cultivating the future for Latinx creators in today's world, as well as the importance of corporate efforts in support of the community.

Delivery Vehicle: A custom UPS truck will make its way around the city with a design that pays homage to the campaign and limited-edition line.

The profits of the UPS x Awake NY collaboration will go to New York City’s High School of Fashion Industries, to support future Latinx fashion creators. The school focuses on nurturing the future of fashion designers and businesses.

The collab is designed to spotlight the Latinx fashion community and help grow their businesses. Within the fashion industry, only 4% of the most influential people in fashion are Latino (2021 BoF500). UPS is committed to supporting the health and growth of diverse-owned small and medium-size businesses, with more than $1 million in grants through its Be Unstoppable campaign and partnerships with New York Fashion Week and others.
