ASICS, a global leader in athletic footwear and performance apparel, has launched a new campaign that challenges the toxic, win-at-all-costs conventions of sports marketing to offer a refreshingly zen approach.

Set in Tokyo and rooted in the brand’s Japanese heritage, ‘Move your body, move your mind’ celebrates the serenity and simplicity of movement, reminding people that “You don’t need headphones to cancel the noise or a filter to see the world in a better light.”

With global stress levels rising and our mental wellbeing threatened like never before, the brand’s positive and inclusive messaging is timely. The campaign invites people of all ages and abilities to embrace the idea that movement - whether walking, running, gym or tennis - can be a source of joy, mental clarity, and emotional balance. That exercise needn’t be about pushing limits or enduring hardship - it can simply be a means to find peace, clarity and balance.

AGIT8 executive creative director, Gerry Human said, "Most sports brands make you feel like you need to run a marathon or break a record to be a winner. But this campaign flips that idea on its head. Shot in the vibrant streets of Tokyo and capturing moments of personal serenity in busy urban landscapes, we show that movement is a triumph in itself. As part of the launch, ASICS will also introduce a series of new products designed with this philosophy in mind, including the latest footwear and apparel lines that prioritise comfort, sustainability, and mindful design. Whether it's a gentle jog through the park or a quiet stretch at home, ASICS is dedicated to providing every kind of athlete with the tools to move at their own pace, with mental wellbeing at the forefront.

In a competitive landscape where the pressure to achieve can overshadow the joy of participation, ASICS' ‘Move your body, move your mind’ campaign provides a welcome alternative - reminding us all that sometimes the best way to succeed is to let go of the need to succeed at any cost.

The campaign will roll out in the UK and globally across TV, print, digital, and social media platforms, including the ASICS YouTube channel.
