Apache Digital founder and colourist Steve Rodriguez helps bring feature film 'For Worse' to life through colour. The film premiered earlier this month at SXSW in Austin, Texas. Directed by Amy Landecker, the film explores the highs and lows of reinvention, self-discovery, and the unexpected detours that come with starting over.
'For Worse' follows Lauren, a newly divorced, sober mother who feels rejuvenated after joining her first acting class and even more so when she sparks a fling with her hot, young scene partner. But when the pair attend their gen z classmate’s wedding together, things begin to fall apart. Lauren finds herself behaving like a reckless 25-year-old bridesmaid. Luckily, after a disastrous night, she stumbles into a new day and a new beginning.
"Having another Film Premiere at SXSW 2025 is a huge honour for Apache,” shares founder and managing partner LaRue Anderson. “Growing up in Austin, I have had a front-row seat watching the film festival grow over the years. SXSW has been a consistent home for our work, and we’re thrilled to return once again to share our latest project with the world."
