ANA Announces 2024 In-House Excellence Awards Grand Jury

On Wednesday, May 15 in Carlsbad, California the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) will host the ANA In-House Excellence Awards Gala as part of the ANA In-House Agency Conference. There the Category Grand Prize Winners in 14 categories will be announced, plus those selected for this year’s ANA SeeHer GEM Awards, as well as the recipients of this year’s Top Awards. 

The program’s Grand Jury will have the task of determining this year’s recipients of the industry's highest honours - Best in Show (from top scoring Category Grand Prize Winners), In-House Agency of the Year, and a new category for 2024, In-House Leader of the Year.

 The ANA is delighted to unveil the distinguished members of the 2024 In-House Excellence Awards Grand Jury:

• Warren Chase- VP, managing director Copper Giants from Liberty Mutual Insurance
• Jessica Cipolla-Tario- VP global creative services from Sony Interactive Entertainment
• Mandy Janicki- head of UL Solutions Corporate Creative Studio from UL Solutions
• Janet Lee- former CMO from Former Samsung
• Heather Malenshek- SVP & chief marketing officer from Land O’Lakes, Inc.
• Charissa Messer- executive director, Enterprise Creative Solutions from Bank of America
• Rebecca Pollock- global head of brand from Logitech
• Karuna Rawal- CMO from Nature's Fynd
• Carlos Ricardo- SVP marketing services & creative production from HP
• Peter Viento- director, head of creative global marketing from Citi

Previous winners of the Best in Show award include Aflac with The XP Agency (2023), CVS Health / Heart Haus (2022), and ALSAC / St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® Agency: Theorist, Inc (2021). Citi Creative Services was named In-House Agency of the Year in 2023 and Volt Studio, Molson Coors In-house Agency in 2022, the first year of the award. 

The ANA In-House Excellence Awards were launched in 2021 to celebrate the pinnacle of creativity, strategy, and growth in marketing and advertising from in-house marketing teams. No longer confined to mere cost-efficient solutions, in-house teams now lead diverse initiatives, from creative strategy to producing high-quality commercials, demonstrating their pivotal role in driving business success globally. The seventeen award categories recognize excellence in solutions and campaigns of all sizes, budgets, and scopes. 

Any in-house agency, team, or department worldwide can submit successful marketing assets or projects that ran in 2023 to be considered for this year’s awards.  

The Category Grand Prize Winners will be announced and celebrated at the In-House Excellence Awards Gala on May 15 during the 2024 ANA In-House Agency Conference, May 14-16, at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
