Production Company Alfredo Films welcomes Czech director Luboš Vacke for Canadian representation. 

Born and raised in the outskirts of Prague, Luboš is known for blending magical realism, sophisticated cinematography, clever characters, and refined production design. Luboš thanks his mother’s job at a local theatre for his appreciation and understanding of cinema, having spent many days of his childhood in front of the silver screen. While he originally excelled as an art director and creative director for agencies like Leo Burnett and BBDO, he soon transitioned into commercial directing in 2014, and has been doing it ever since. Today, Luboš is known worldwide for his fresh and energetic work, and he’s directed for brands including George, Nike, Canon, and Zalando. His deep understanding of VFX integration and practical effects allows him to simplify even the most complicated shots. His spots incorporate upbeat editing and whimsical performances to create works that are a blast from start to finish. 

Executive producer Holly Rowden had this to say on Luboš signing, “We were instantly drawn to Luboš’ reel, and we loved his unique way of communicating his vision, from his insanely hilarious pre-viz’s to editing the spot himself on set.
