AKQA, the largest independent digital agency worldwide, announces six new hires to its expanding Amsterdam team. For two of them, Dutch concepting duo Ron Engelbert and Alex Danklof, this marks a return to AKQA, having worked already with the agency from 2008-2010. For the past two years, the pair has been helping TBWA Amsterdam develop its digital capability.
Ron and Alex will be joined by an additional four new colleagues in the shape of Senior Strategic Planner, Tom Miskin; Senior Project Manager, Jessica Roberti; Senior Project Manager, Julie Demers, and Project Manager, Bruno Muszynski.
Tom Miskin comes to AKQA’s Amsterdam office from the award-winning Weapon7 in London. Jessica Roberti joins the team from Adidas where she managed the global digital brand strategy for Originals, Y-3, SLVR and Porsche Design Sport.
Julie Demers brings more than ten years of interactive experience to the table. She has worked as a project manager at several global agencies including Sid Lee’s Montreal and Amsterdam-based offices and Satama and Luxus in Finland. Over the years she has managed digital accounts for the likes of Cirque de Solieil, Adidas, MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, Nokia, JC Penny and American Eagle Outfitters.
Bruno Muszynnski started out as a graphic designer and moved on to lead creativity and digital to encompass client needs as a project manager. Bruno joins AQKA’s Amsterdam-based team from his previous role at Infiniti, Nissan’s luxury brand, where he delivered and managed projects throughout 20 countries across Europe.
