AIA Expands Partnership with TBWA in China

AIA China has selected TBWA as its new agency of record in Mainland China, after a competitive pitch against other 4A agencies. In October 2011, TBWA\Hong Kong was appointed by AIA as it's regional creative agency to drive brand growth across Asia.

 

“We are all very excited about this result,” said Jeff Ma, Chief Marketing Officer of TBWA\Greater China. “It’s a strategic business extension from Hong Kong to mainland China to help AIA to achieve their marketing goals in the region. We already have a strong portfolio in financial services category. Now with AIA, we can further develop insights and expertise in this fast growing market.”

TBWA\Shanghai also confirmed that Shel Liu, a former executive from JWT, has joined to head up the account management on Visa, Standard Chartered Bank and AIA China.
