London creative agency AGIT8 has created timely new work for ASICS that shows how exercise can transform our mood and help us see the world in a more positive way.
At this time of year, millions of people experience lower moods resulting from the long, dark winter months. However, ASICS research shows that getting out and moving, even for just 15 minutes, can lift people's spirits.
Based on Rorschach’s iconic inkblot tests, the executions show the impact movement can have on our state of mind. The images playfully replicate Rorschach test cards with headlines describing what a runner might see before and after a run. As well as helping people beat the winter blues, this latest work continues to spread ASICS' 'Sound Mind, Sound Body' philosophy.
The work appears in UK sports, health and lifestyle publications, as well as cross-track posters at London Underground sites where weary commuters have time to absorb the
message.
AGIT8 founder and creative director, Gerry Human said, “It really is amazing how exercise can shift your mood, and great that ASICS keeps finding new ways to encourage people to move – especially at this time of year when so many of us need a mental boost."
