Hear from Poland based post house Juice. on the importance of post production

“We will fix it in post” is a sentence that you can hear at least once during the execution of 90 per cent of advertising projects, according to the team at Juice. in Poland.

As a result, Juice. will present a panel discussion at ADFEST 2015 called “We Will Fix it in Post” to help people visualise the importance of post production in today’s advertising world.

Presented by Adam Tunikowski (CEO and creative director), Michal Dwojak-Hara (head of animation and creative director), Michal Misinski (art director) and Natalia Lasota (producer), the session will help people understand the value of the creative agency team working closely with the post production team.

“We would like to show how understanding the basics of post production can help clients and the agency face budget or time problems. It’s not always the truth that if you make something for a smaller budget, in a shorter time, you will have to compromise on quality," Lasota said.

"We will also present a fourth element, which makes it possible to create great quality projects in a short time and with a small budget. And we will explain why we have to be bad to make it happen,” she added.

Growing up in Poland, Tunikowski was offered his first position as a designer aged 15, when he realised that all great creative work is founded on superlative design. After Computer Arts magazine named him the most influential Eastern European designer under 30, he worked in Vienna, Paris, London and Stockholm, returning to Poland in 2006, where he founded Juice.

Dwojak-Hara divides his time between Tokyo and Warsaw, directing animation and supervising postproduction at Juice.

Misinski joined Juice. in 2007. Last year, he took part in creating a multinational feature project – “Ghost in the Shell”, a short adaptation of a Manga story, directed by Mamoru Oshii. He also worked as the art director for the official Sochi Olympics and created the teaser for the well known TV series, The Vikings.

Lasota has launched two production companies, and spent two years living in India working on big TV campaigns for brands such as Adidas, Nestle, Toyota and Coca-Cola, before returning to Poland to join Juice.

‘We Will Fix it in Post’ takes place at Adfest on Thursday 19th March, 3:15pm.
