adam&eveDDB has appointed Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford as creative directors.
During a 13-year partnership, Mike and Pauline have been behind highly awarded and culturally influential work, including IKEA’s famous festive campaign ‘Silence the Critics’, one of the most awarded campaigns of 2019.
With a reputation for original, problem-solving ideas, Mike and Pauline’s work has shaped culture, from Adidas campaign ‘It’s Blue. What Else Matters’ - Chelsea FC‘s fastest ever selling home kit - to Beard Baubles, a festive product that became a worldwide
sensation and remains in retailers today.
Other notable work includes RSPCA ‘Respect’, Guinness 'Foot Pints', The Sunday Times ‘Changing Face of Wealth’ and Bloody Good Period ‘Typically’, all of which were celebrated at top award shows worldwide. They also hold four D&AD yellow pencils across three
pieces of work.
Before joining adam&eveDDB, Mike and Pauline worked as senior creatives at AMV BBDO between 2020 and 2024. Previously, they spent five years as creatives at Mother from 2015 to 2020 and three years at Grey London.
They will report into Ant Nelson and Mike Sutherland, who were recently promoted to chief creative officers.
Mike and Pauline said, “We’ve spent many years admiring adam&eveDDB’s iconic work from afar. To be part of the agency's future fills us with immense pride and excitement. We can’t wait to finally bring our thinking to 12 Bishops Bridge Road.”
Ant and Mike added, “As an agency we love to create non-traditional shaped work and Mike and Pauline have a portfolio full of it. They’ve created some incredible campaigns and we can’t wait to see how they’ll apply their unique thinking to our wonderful clients
and Feeling First positioning.”
