Created by 72andSunny LA, the tongue-in-cheek promo features actors trapped in a world full of coded messages
To celebrate the imminent launch of Call of Duty: WWII’s first DLC Pack, The Resistance, Activision is inviting gamers to live in the spirit of the legendary fighters through a new live-action trailer.
Call of Duty: WWII marks a return to the franchise’s roots, and this year’s first DLC pack – debuting first on PlayStation 4 tomorrow – is all about The Resistance. Players battle as European Resistance fighters in all-new maps, a new War Mode mission, and a new chapter of Nazi Zombies.
The trailer follows three friends whose excitement for Call of Duty leads them to take the spirit of the resistance to the next level. Our heroes live in a world of coded messages, secret passwords, and clandestine meetings. Directed by Hollywood filmmakers Will Speck and Josh Gordon (Blades of Glory, The Switch, Office Christmas party) in collaboration with Activision and creative agency 72andSunny, the trailer continues the theme of celebrating the franchise’s driving force – its passionate fans.
