Accenture Song announces the appointment of Kevin Mathers as managing director and head of go-to-market for the UK, Ireland and Africa (UKIA). In his new role, Kevin will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for Accenture Song’s business leveraging his extensive expertise in technology and innovation to drive creative reinvention, enhance client relevance, and accelerate business growth. He will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges, promote tailored solutions, and guide them through transformational initiatives. Additionally, Kevin will foster collaboration across teams to deliver the optimum blend of creative, tech and data solutions to elevate client relevance and drive growth.
Kevin joins Accenture Song from Google, where he spent the last 18 years leading various commercial teams, including Google UK’s Search advertising business and serving as their first YouTube UK managing director. He was instrumental in setting up Google UK's new products & solutions team, where he oversaw the introduction and growth of all their emergent advertising products. Kevin’s diverse experience, which also spans roles at Deloitte, T-Mobile, and as an officer in the British Army, uniquely positions him to speak to Accenture Song’s broad client set about their combined creative and technology-driven approach to client success.
This appointment marks a significant milestone in the continued evolution of Accenture Song under the leadership of Sohel Aziz, who stepped into his role as Accenture Song’s regional managing director and lead for UKIA a year ago. In this time, Sohel has been strengthening the business’s position as a leader in combining creativity and technology to help clients reinvent their commercial strategies and operations. Sohel has made immediate impact in partnership with Dame Annette King, who leads Accenture Song’s global marketing practice, in building a strong leadership team of experts and overseeing the acquisition of Unlimited, the award-winning integrated customer engagement agency, in April of this year.
