adam&eveDDB has launched a new brand campaign for Lloyds Bank, titled 'The Running of the Horses'.
The spot, directed by Pulse's Sam Pilling, demonstrates the bank’s long-standing commitment to be by the side of every person, community and generation throughout Britain.
The campaign celebrates and showcases the many different people and life stages supported by the bank. Young and old, friends and families, grandparents and new parents.
The TV ad starts with our hero, a young girl getting woken up in the middle of the night. With excitement in her eyes, she leads her town towards an unknown event. Finally, we see what they’ve all been waiting for: a beautiful heard of iconic black horses running along the coastline of their local beach.
The music track featured is a cover of the iconic song ‘You’re Not Alone’ by Olive recorded by Astræa. This song exemplifies the continuing and constant support that people want now and in the future.
Running of the Horses launched on Easter Sunday (1st April) and will run across TV, cinema, digital, print, outdoor and social.
Mat Goff, Joint-CEO of adam&eveDDB, says: “This latest chapter in our campaign shows the Lloyds black horse at its iconic best: powerful, dependable and there for every generation and community.”
Catherine Kehoe, Managing Director Group Brands and Marketing, Lloyds Bank adds: “In recent years our advertising has told the story of how Lloyds Bank has been by the side of families, businesses and communities in Britain for over 250 years. We continue on this journey, being by the side of our customers today, serving diverse generations, from young to old, parents and grandparents”.
