Niall Trask masters yet another music video for Decius, revealing the tender yet chaotic story of a man deeply connected to his car, blending emotional vulnerability with rebellious energy. It's a JG Ballard meets Cool Hand Luke sort of vibe, whilst the protagonist and lead singer Lias Saoudi finds solace and rebellion in the bond he shares with his vehicle.
Niall Trask said, "I'm very grateful to work with these guys. To be honest, we didn’t have much money but it was the hard work from crew that really made this music video work out. I would feel highly pretentious trying to contextualise this video artistically. But I guess a lot of my style comes from a smash and grab ethos, which despite my best attempts, doesn’t seem to change. It’s my personal homage to JG Ballard."
