72U's 'Dear Neighbor' Murals Address the Need for Supportive Housing in LA
In an effort to address the urgent need for the creation of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), creative residency 72U (housed within 72andSunny Los Angeles) has created the “Dear Neighbor” mural project.

Created alongside homeless artists and writers, the two murals in key Los Angeles neighborhoods directly address the critical need for supportive housing across LA. Each mural includes art, letters written by members of the homeless community, curated facts addressing resident concerns and an AR feature showing a 3-D model of PSH housing, created by partnering organisation, FlyawayHomes. During the unveiling event, Los Angeles' Mayor Eric Garcetti and leaders in the homeless services space attended and addressed the critical need for supportive housing and services to end homelessness across Los Angeles.

Additional information is available by scanning a QR code which will link to the Dear Neighbor site, where there will be videos of letters will be shown and read by their homeless author, ways to get involved, partnering organisations, and the names and contact information for each neighborhood council member.
