72andSunny Amsterdam recently hired Mike Goller as group brand director on Google. In addition to heading up the agency’s EMEA Google business, Goller serves as joint lead of the brand management department. He reports into 72andSunny Amsterdam’s managing director, Nic Owen.
Originally from Cologne, Goller started his career at BBDO Germany, where he worked with Pepsi and Mars. Over the next 15 years, he spent time at a number of renowned creative companies, including Wieden + Kennedy, Modernista!, Atletico/Grey and VICE working with brands ranging from Coca-Cola to Cadillac, Sharp and Pernod Ricard.
“We’re really pleased to have lured Mike to 72andSunny Amsterdam,” says Managing Director Nic Owen. “Not only is he a class act and passionate about the agency and Google, but he can also ride a bike backwards at speed—a prime example of the type of multi-talented person we want on our team.”
“It’s great to be back in Amsterdam and I feel fortunate to work alongside such an inspiring group of individuals,” explains Goller. “72andSunny has a uniquely collaborative culture. They make operating as a team look effortless and the results speak for themselves.”
