Charlie Bettice joined 4creative full time in 2020 as an executive producer, working on campaigns such as; Great British Bake Off, Taskmaster and Derry Girls.
He’s been responsible for all commercial partnership work produced by 4creative for clients such as Virgin Atlantic, Monzo, British Airways, Oxfam and Skoda.
He started his career in longform comedy and entertainment programming, making the move to shortform as a freelance producer working for 4creative, BBC Creative, Google, Sky and various advertising agencies.
He now becomes head of production.
Charlie’s new role comes on the back of Miketta Lane’s move into the role of director of 4creative.
Capability-wise, it gives the team a leader with fully integrated production experience across both advertising agencies and production companies, in long form and short form. Someone who can build production teams, leading work that exists beyond linear TV screens, and out in modern day culture too.
Miketta said, "I’m incredibly proud of 4creative’s production dept. It’s full of exceptionally talented, multi-skilled and fully integrated producers, and over the years Charlie has been instrumental in growing and developing that team. At a time when we need to keep evolving and adapting, Charlie has helped shape the team to flex, building relationships with production partners, strengthening our in-house production offering, and seeking out new and exciting opportunities across our platforms. He’s a solutions driven, creative leader, who keeps the people and the craft at the heart of everything he does – and I’m delighted he’ll be leading our production as we head into 2025."
Charlie said, "It’s an honour to head up 4creative’s in-house production team. 4creative is a very special place, and so are its people. The production department are renowned for producing and delivering world class creative, and I couldn’t be happier about taking a step up to support and lead them in the amazing work they do."
