Cultural marketing agency 160/90 today announced its appointment of Jody Friedericks as executive creative director.
Based in Los Angeles, Jody brings nearly 30 years of experience, having held prior roles at creative agencies ATTN:, Known, and in-house at Princess Cruises. As executive creative director at 160/90, Jody will lead the agency’s global creative team, working on behalf of existing clients and across new business efforts. A pioneer in sonic branding, Jody will additionally support the agency’s new sonic marketing offering. 160/90 developed its own original mnemonic in collaboration with WME earlier this year.
“Jody’s creative leadership experience has fostered a sense of what it means to be culturally connected, which naturally dovetails with our agency’s positioning and mission,” said 160/90 president Ed Horne. “We’re thrilled to have Jody leading our global creative team, encouraging our employees to remain serially curious, and ensuring our work fulfills our promise of forging stronger human connections.”
“As a constant student of consumers, trends, and culture, I am especially excited to join 160/90, which sits at the epicenter of ‘the next big thing’ through its access within the Endeavor network,” Friedericks noted. “I look forward to collaborating with our team across the globe to take brands to new depths and deliver the type of work that can only come from a true cultural marketing agency.”
