14th Street Loft Opens in NYC

Expansive shooting location 14th Street Loft, a new production rental space, has opened in New York City. Situated in the heart of Manhattan's Meatpacking District at the corner of 14th Street and 9th Avenue in the historic Kelly Building, the 5,000 square foot space has been renovated with a flexible, open floor plan – enabling productions to easily transform the venue, as projects require. Ideal for print and commercial advertising shoots, 14th Street Loft can also be reserved for private events.

Equipped with a spacious, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, the loft is accessible via a street-facing elevator for simple gear loading. Supported by beautiful wood columns, the bright and airy space features expansive, open square footage for optimal camera maneuverability. Other amenities include a greenroom, dedicated area for hair and makeup, nineteen large windows providing striking natural light, black out shades and two sizeable bathrooms. 

Built in 1886, the Kelly Building has housed a broad and colorful variety of establishments over the decades. In previous incarnations, 14th Street Loft was a clothing boutique that specialized in drag queen wardrobe and before that, an outrageous bar dubbed The Toilet. Nearby accommodations include The Standard, High Line Hotel located across the street, as well as the Chelsea Market and Soho House New York, which shares a wall with 14th Street Loft.
