Our film work spans animated feature films, TV series, shorts, music content, and Cannes Grand Prix-winning commercials. In experience design, our team produces innovative XR, spatial computing, large-scale digital products, gaming, digital activations, and physical experiences, including theme park rides, live immersive shows, and museum & art installations.
Nexus has studios in London, Los Angeles, and Sydney. Our in-house team of 100+ artists, producers and technologists support our projects from conception to delivery. Our core capabilities span character and world building at scale, creative strategy and ideation, story development, all forms of animation, live-action/vfx from pre-production to production and post/VFX, all under our roof. Our technology pipeline utilises our own proprietary technologies alongside digital tools, realtime engines and bespoke AI solutions. Nexus has worked with a broad array of clients including, but not limited to, Meta, Apple, Google, Disney, Nike, Netflix, and Marvel.
Music
Twice Grammy-nominated studio transforming music entertainment with cutting-edge films, videos, and virtual experiences for global artists. Our work includes the songs 'Eagle' and 'Voulez Vous' from Abba Voyage, 'Happier Than Ever' by Billie Eilish and a long-standing collaboration with Gorillaz which includes videos for 'Cracker Island' and 'Silent Running' as well as AR phenomenon 'Gorillaz Presents'.
Sports
We are at the forefront of innovation in sports storytelling, from award-winning film to next-gen fan experiences that seamlessly blend digital and physical worlds. Among this groundbreaking work is Noche UFC, a fusion of cinematic storytelling with live sports that utilised the immersive Sphere arena in Las Vegas to celebrate Mexico’s rich history, culture, and future. Other sports work includes Fx Goby's beautiful 2D animated commercial 'Welcome to the City of Love'. This launched the BBC's coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and was nominated in the 'Best Sponsored' category at the Annie Awards.

We have a history of producing world-class branded content for industry leaders across sport, technology, film and television. Our catalogue includes work for clients as varied as Meta, Apple, Gorillaz, Playstation, and Disney, among many others. Recent work includes Telsta's 'App O'Clock' campaign (dir. Laurie Rowan) featuring Colin, a grumpy little cuckoo with big opinions and even bigger shoes, as well as Very's fabulous (and very pink!) Christmas campaign 'Let's Make it Sparkle' (dir. Paloma Baeza).
Entertainment
Pioneering multi-dimensional entertainment, we create original content and partner with global IPs in film, TV, XR, Immersive Experiences and beyond. Patrick Osborne's innovative real-time animation series, 'This Tape Deck is a Time Machine' pushed the boundaries of what was possible in the medium, while telling an impossible tale of friendship and love centered around soulmates born generations apart.
Film
From Emmy-winning features, Grammy-nominated music films, to three times Cannes Grand Prix-winning branded content, we produce films alongside our world-class directors in animation and artful live action. Nexus released the stop-motion, dark comedy anthology, 'The House' (dir. Emma de Swaef & Marc Roels, Niki Lindroth von Bahr and Paloma Baeza) in 2022, going on to win an Emmy Award as well as earning a nomination for a BAFTA. Created in collaboration with Room to Read (a global education nonprofit creating a world free from illiteracy and gender inequality), in 2023 Nexus Studios produced the animation for 'She Creates Change' a non-profit film series combining documentary and animation to tell the stories of six unique girls overcoming obstacles in their lives and becoming stronger in the process.
Experience Design
We create multi-dimensional story-driven experiences alive across real and digital spaces, XR/spatial computing, real-time, AI, experiential, and gaming platforms. Nexus proudly collaborated with Pedigree on their 'Adoptable' campaign, using machine-learning technology to bring real dogs from local shelters into Pedigree media placements with the aim of increasing the likelihood of adoption. Nexus also brought 'Headspace XR' to life, from conception to launch. This first-of-its-kind XR product allows users to move, play, meditate and explore an open world with their friends, all while learning lifelong mindfulness skills they can benefit from in the real world.
