Idea
Five winning teams are granted full access to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and honoured with a limited edition Future Lions trophy. Alongside the individual awards, the school with the most number of shortlisted submissions is recognised as the Future Lions School of the Year.
Impact
99% of winners have gone on to work for some of the world’s top advertising and design agencies. Now in its twelfth year, this incubator for talent has become one of the most highly anticipated seminars at Cannes.
AKQA is a design and innovation company that employs over 6,500 professionals across 20 countries. Named Digital Agency Global Network of the Year in Campaign’s 2023 Global Agency of the Year Awards, AKQA was also awarded the Cannes Lions Grand Prix for Digital Craft in 2023, and the Grand Prix for Design in 2021. In 2023, AKQA was recognised as a winner in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards.
