Sophie C. Taylor

​Sophie C. Taylor started her career in London, working with award winning production companies and agencies creating some of the iconic commercial brand campaigns of the early 2000's. She also gained experience with live broadcast on the production teams for prominent televised concerts and music festivals. After more than a decade working on sets and stages - Sophie pivoted to post- production before relocating to Melbourne Australia in 2010. Driven by her love for technology and knack for solving complex creative problems, Sophie ventured into the realm of experiential and immersive tech for advertising and events before transitioning to longform CG animation and VFX  with renowned post-production houses, including Iloura, Rising Sun, Cinesite and Method Studios. She worked as a VFX producer on numerous high profile feature films including "X-Men: Dark Phoenix", "Peter Rabbit", "Dumbo" and also the BAFTA award-winning Netflix series "The Witcher" among others Sophie's 20-year journey in the screen industry, combined with her passion for emerging technology and extensive experience managing film crews, stage crews, CG artists, and developers, naturally led her into the domains of virtual production, ICVFX, and real-time workflows. This path brought her to NantStudios at the close of 2022, where she was instrumental in launching their state-of-the-art volume stages in Docklands, Melbourne.​
