Paul-Étienne Côté

Paul-Étienne Côté is a musician, composer, producer and CEO/Founder at Circonflex.

He began his music career on stage, notably with Patrick Watson, before making the leap into composing music for film and television.

After getting his start composing for over 500 episodes of international TV series, it was in the world of advertising that Paul-Étienne continued his success. 

He founded his studio Circonflex in Montréal in 2009,  followed by Circonflex Paris in 2017, and Circonflex Toronto in 2022.

Circonflex is a music + sound agency specialising in original and bespoke music, sonic branding, sound design and audio recording. Over the years, the awards for Paul-Étienne’s and Circonflex’s work accumulated: SOCAN Awards, Epica Awards, The One Show, Club des DA, Marketing Awards, Clio Awards and Cannes Lions, to name a few.
