I'm a Lead 2D Artist based in Amsterdam, with 20+ years of experience spanning film, television, and advertising. Working primarily in Flame, Nuke, and After Effects, my core skills are compositing and motion design.
My journey from Tasmania to Amsterdam took me through photo labs, TV stations, production companies, post facilities, VFX studios, and ad agencies. I've complemented these varied professional roles by creating exhibition art, producing independent music videos, and programming for an arthouse cinema. I also had an article about Wong Kar-Wai published in the film journal, Metro.
My feature film credentials span GUI design for the sci-fi 'Guardians of the Tomb' to serving as lead compositor on Palme d'Or nominee Gillian Armstrong's film 'Women He's Undressed'.
In the advertising world, I've collaborated with agencies and post-production facilities including Wieden+Kennedy, 72andSunny, Saatchi & Saatchi, MPC, and Glassworks, working on global campaigns for clients such as Apple, adidas, Nike, Warner Brothers, and Google, as well as music videos for Khruangbin, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Flo, Sevdaliza and Grimes.
I'm an Australian / Dutch / British triple-national, speaking native English and fluent Dutch.
