Ashley Monaghan

​I'm an Executive Producer at Hornet, based in New York City, where I focus on new business development and strategic partnerships. I’ve been working in the advertising and production industry since 2008, with a background that spans post-production, production, sales, design, and animation. I have held leadership roles at companies like Soft Citizen, Tendril, and Smile and Wave, all based in Toronto. In 2022, I made the move to New York City to join Hornet. Since then, I’ve been working closely with our partners and clients to identify opportunities, shape creative collaborations, and champion Hornet’s incredible roster of talent. I’m passionate about connecting brands with bold, design-forward storytelling—and helping our artists do their best work. I've had the honor of serving on several award show juries, including the AICP Awards, Collision Awards, and The Webby Awards, with a particular focus on animation. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Radio & Television Arts from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
