L-R: Wpromote CRO Andrew Mahr and CFO Amir Feder
Independent media agency Wpromote has bolstered its C-suite with two key hires: Andrew Mahr as chief revenue officer and Amir Feder as chief financial officer. Andrew, returning to the agency side after a decade in AdTech, brings a unique blend of client-side expertise and SaaS innovation to streamline business development and refine Wpromote’s go-to-market strategy. Amir, a seasoned agency veteran with experience at Droga5, Digitas, and others, will leverage his holdco and indie background to evolve Wpromote’s offerings for today’s market.
"Andrew and Amir each bring distinct strengths that align perfectly with where we’re headed," says Wpromote CEO Andrea Bendzick. "Andrew has a sharp understanding of brand challenges and the technical expertise to help solve them - critical as we scale Polaris and improve our client experience. Amir’s deep agency background gives him first hand insight into evolving service models while maintaining growth. Together, they’re strengthening our full-funnel approach to meet the needs of brands in 2025."
Adds Andrew, “Today’s data-savvy CMOs are more influential in the C-suite than ever before, but that also means they’re held to an incredibly high standard of performance quarter after quarter. They’re accountable for each dollar they spend driving growth. Wpromote has a proven track record of delivering that to that standard and giving clients best-in-class transparency around data, channel expertise, and technology-backed accountability across all media. For me, this opportunity is not about going back to the agency world—it’s about embracing Wpromote’s vision for a new model of brand and agency partnerships that the next generation of leading CMOs will demand.”
“The agency model has been under pressure, with indies and holdcos racing to meet shifting market demands, notes Amir. “The team at Wpromote knows that agility is essential, but so is the ability to fuse brand and performance. That combination is what drives real, measurable growth, and that’s our focus. I’m excited to be joining a team that’s not just keeping up, but leading the way forward.”
Andrew brings over a decade of experience leading B2B revenue teams, recently leading growth at sales enablement software company Emissary. His journey to CRO wasn’t typical–he started in account management and customer success, only to take on new business sales a few years later, harnessing an understanding of both the client and prospect sides of the business. He led the sales and customer success team as chief revenue officer at ABM SaaS start up Triblio, then served as the founding revenue leader for Foundry’s software and data business unit.
Amir is a dynamic finance leader with over 20 years of experience guiding innovative companies through explosive growth. Known for his expertise in high-stakes M&A, IPO readiness, and global business transformation, Amir has a knack for scaling businesses through strategic financing and cross-border team building. As the global CFO of Droga5, he helped grow the agency from 50 to 700 employees, expanded its global footprint, and led its landmark acquisition by Accenture in 2019. With a career spanning Disney, WPP, IPG, Publicis, and Viacom, Amir brings a wealth of knowledge and a track record of driving results.
These C-suite appointments, along with Mike Stone’s move to chief strategy officer, highlight Wpromote’s dedication to hybrid intelligence - pairing top talent with cutting-edge tech to deliver exceptional results that unite brand and performance goals. This follows Wpromote being named Ad Age’s 2025 Performance Marketing Agency of the Year for its innovative Brandformance approach.
