Stacey Bird and Jack Croft have been promoted to joint Executive Creative Directors at Wonderhood Studios.
The creative duo was one of Wonderhood’s first major hires in 2018 and were recently promoted to deputy ECD’s in May 2024. They will succeed Ben Edwards and Guy Hobbs who left the agency at the end of 2024.
Jack and Stacey joined the agency six years ago from 4Creative, Channel 4’s in-house agency and were pivotal in Wonderhood’s early growth, bringing in key accounts such as Mizkan and Three UK. In the past six years, they have been creative directors on the award-winning campaign ‘Homeless Christmas Dinners’ for The Soup Kitchen, Starling Bank’s ‘The Bank Built For You’, and were involved in the creation of Macmillan’s premium branded factual series ‘Super Surgeons: A Chance at Life’.
In their new role as ECDs, Jack and Stacey will oversee the creative department and creative direction across many of Wonderhood’s key accounts. They will report to Wonderhood’s co-founder & chief creative officer, Aidan McClure.
Aidan McClure said, ‘Jack and Stacey are the heart and soul of Wonderhood Studios. Becoming ECD’s allows them to extend their brilliant influence even further. I can’t think of better partners to take the creative department forward.’
Jack and Stacey added ,‘In the last 6 years we’ve seen Wonderhood grow from 6 people in a little room to a 60 strong team with a big ol’ building in Soho. We can’t wait to see what we can achieve with this role and our seriously talented and lovely creative department.’
