And while things sometimes feel like they are out of our control this time of year, there is one thing we do have control of - ourselves. Therabody reminds us of the importance of taking control of our wellness in an action-packed spot to kick off their holiday brand campaign, produced by Stept Studios, directed by Patrick Hall, and created by creative agency Runt. The film stars the boss herself - Peloton Instructor Ally Love - delivering the message that “you can't control the holidays, but you can control your recovery.”
The film showcases the incredible Theragun product, a product destined to be filmed in slow motion. It was flawlessly executed through the collaboration of the technical and post teams; shooting with a RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV 35.4 Megapixel DSMC3 camera, an exclusive cinematic camera that produces hyper-slow motion footage, and pairing it with subtle VFX to enhance the world surrounding it.
On the creative vision of the spot, Stept Founder Nick Martini says: “We worked with the creative team at Runt to design an action-packed 30-second spot out of a single take, using cutting edge camera technology and pairing it with subtle VFX.” He adds, “At Stept we are always trying to push the limits and create something viewers aren’t used to seeing. Because our production and post teams live under one roof, there is a lot of collaboration in pre-production to ideas special effects that can enhance a project.
