What is V The Production Library?
Part of the Warner Chappell Production Music Library & Recorded in the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London, V is home to the best and most current quality Library Music in pop, rock, dance, kitsch, lounge, techno and several other modern styles of music.
Contemporary, Exciting, and Infectiously well-designed!
This article will look at my top three favourite albums within V and the juicy variety of goodness they provide and why it holds a special place in WCPM UK’S heart!
1.V CLOSE TO THE ACTION.
There’s nothing quite like a gallon of this high-octane goodness to put your production at its fastest speed. 😉
‘V Close To The Action’ was composed and released in back in 2016 by the super talented Louise Dowd and Jeremy Abbot and is yet to show a single sign of slowing down.
The album consists of a wide selection of indie rock. electro rock, & electronica tracks which all possess that dangerous, energetic feel! The huge guitar hook-lines, robust drums and staggering synths make the music complimentary to anything extreme sports, cars & high energy.
A firm favourite from the album, ‘Run For Your Money’ has been used on several occasions in a variety of captivating productions. The aggressive electro rock intro instantly ramps up that adrenaline & creates a sense of competition and swagger. Let the games begin!
From featuring in Ads of the disgustingly slick David Beckham making a Maserati squeal around a racetrack to BBC Sport Promo’s! It’s syncs like these where the perfect pitch areas for this music are brought to light!
Who knows? Perhaps the breaks won’t be put on yet and we will see a V Close to the Action 2? 😉
2.V EVERGREEN 2.
If you’re seeking that boost of optimism, then you’ve come to the right place! ‘V Evergreen 2’ is a master in the game when it involves awakening and uplifting every element of your production. It’s bursting at the seams with happy, colourful, positive tracks which are guaranteed to brighten and complete your project.
The retro sounding lifestyle pop that constitutes this beaming album is full of vocals and brassy hooks invoking feelings of glory and pride.
A prime example of where this style of music is best adopted is demonstrated in the fabulous Tesco Campaign – Love Food stories | Nan’s Long Distance Roast Lamb, which features the track ‘Circle Of Happiness’.
This feel-good light pop track goes hand in hand with the heart-warming, cheery story line within the short film.
This track also landed a cheeky spot as ITV loose women’s Opening theme song! Which reiterates the lifestyle / daytime TV distinctiveness of this music!
All in all, I’m obsessed with the positive feels that this album continues to provide.

3.V NEXT GEN.
Next Gen by name, Next Gen by nature!
This wonderful collection of bright, glossy beats is the perfect soundtrack to everything the next generation stands for. Think fashion, sports, glamour & travel! All those themes make up this beautifully crafted piece of work.
This sensational offering of Pop / Electro Pop holds a euphoric, immense energy that’s exposed in each track. Large immersive synths, ambient vocal effects, enormous beat drops which fit the bill soundly for that reveal moment, especially within an advert!
Not just for those advertising moments, we’ve seen this album land across a variety of TV Productions and Promo’s, including a personal favourite ‘Meet the Khans!’
I absolutely adore the glitz and glam of this album and can certainly envision the ongoing use of it within the fashion / designer brand sector. The sparkly sound compliments the shiny, fresh aesthetic of the commercials for jewellery, clothes, shoes etc.
The production music world can sometimes be a maze! So whether you’re on a mission to find that big indie stomper for your next car documentary, or perhaps some of those twinkly pop tunes for your next designer brand commercial! V the production library has got you covered!
