VMLY&R Appoints Abbie Baehr as Chief Strategy Officer, New York

VMLY&R announces today the appointment of Abbie Baehr as chief strategy officer of the New York office, further expanding the agency’s executive strategic leadership. The role adds strategic firepower across the agency’s flagship New York office and key client accounts including Dell, New Balance, Coca-Cola, Colgate, Advil and Ford. Abbie will report to Ian Davidson, chief strategy officer, North America.

Over the course of her career, Abbie has worked across iconic brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, American Express, Verizon, Walmart, Microsoft, and Diageo. Her work has been celebrated by top industry shows including the Effies and Cannes Lions. She joins the agency from Crispin Porter + Bogusky New York where she served as chief strategy officer of North America. 

Prior to that, she served in a number of strategy roles at McCann Worldgroup. Abbie’s vast experience in brand strategy will be invaluable in expanding the strategic leadership of VMLY&R, following the hire of Andrea Ring, who was named global chief strategy officer earlier this year, as well as the ongoing leadership of Ian Davidson, chief strategy officer, North America, VMLY&R.

Outside of work, Abbie is an animal lover and spends her time volunteering with the furry friends of Badass Animal Rescue in Brooklyn.
