The 18th Annual Webby Awards nominees and honorees were recently announced, with VML being recognized with five nominees and 10 honorees globally. This recognition comes from more than 12,000 entries received from all 50 U.S. states and more than 60 countries worldwide.
The Webby Awards honor the best of the web. Hailed as the "internet's highest honor" by The New York Times, the Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the internet.

As a nominee, VML's work is one of the five best in its category, and is competing for The Webby Award and The Webby People's Voice Award.

To reflect the substantial growth of the internet since the Webby Awards began in 1996, this year's awards have expanded to honor excellence in Websites, Interactive Advertising & Media, Online Firm & Video, Mobile & App, and Social Web. Webby winners are chosen by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a global organization of industry experts and technology innovators.
