VML Hires Suzana Apelbaum

VML today announced it has hired Suzana Apelbaum as group creative director in New York. She will work across all New York clients, including Dell, Hillshire Farms, Ball Park and Campbell's. Additionally, Suzana will work in partnership with Y&R on several integrated clients.

“Suzana has a keen sense for ideas that transcend digital and traditional labels in advertising. Her passion and infectious energy for creating great work make her the perfect addition to our creative leadership in New York,” said Mike Wente, executive creative director and managing director at VML in New York.

A recognized industry innovator and award-winning creative, Apelbaum has vast experience working with top brands, including Coca-Cola, Converse, Fiat, Google, Red Bull, Cadbury Adams, Unilever, Pampers and BlackBerry.

Over the past decade, Apelbaum has had a significant impact on the digital landscape of the Brazilian market, where she worked at agencies such as AgenciaClick, JWT and Africa. In 2010, She moved to New York to work as executive creative director of StrawberryFrog and was most recently creative director at Anomaly.

She will report to Wente.
