VIRTUE Worldwide announces the hires three powerhouse females to its team; Christine Smith as group creative director, Quay Fox as group strategy director and Christine Robertson as head of new business, North America. All three hires come as the agency brings in its new era coming off its investment from Vice Media.
Christine Smith, group creative director: In her role, Christine will work to devise purpose-led campaigns like Cannes Lions favourite, Backup Ukraine, having worked on the campaign two years ago. Christine was ranked at Cannes Lions as the fifth best art director in the world and was awarded the accolade of Next Creative Leader by The One Show.
Quay Fox, group strategy director: Overseeing further brand building and culture strategy, Quay has both agency and publisher side experience, previously working at VICE, Collegehumor.com and Crispin Porter Bogusky. Notable campaign work includes Park MGM’s Las Vegas Love Stories (One Show Bronze Pencil Award), Logitech’s Defy Logic, and Planned Parenthood’s Be Seen campaign.
Christine Robertson, head of new business, North America: Christine makes her return to VIRTUE after three years away leading on business development in the US. Previously having worked at Mother, Elephant, and R/GA, Christine is a well-versed marketing expert, having partnered with some of the biggest brands in the world including Google, Netflix, Unilever, Target, Samsung and The Wall Street Journal, and joins as VIRTUE’s third senior hire.
